Goals to Emiratise the Professions of Iron Industry in the UAE

Emirates Steel has offered 50 vacant positions during its participation in the Abu Dhabi 2018 Employment Fair.

Saeed Ghamran Al Rumaithi, CEO of the company, stressed the objectives of Emiratisation of the iron industry in the UAE. He pointed out that the number of citizens working in UAE Iron was more than 470 people, accounting for 21% of its employees, pointing to the presence of 42 young Emirate employees among the company to raise this ratio to 23 percent by the end of 2018.

He added that among the young citizens currently working in the UAE Iron company, about 350 engineers and technicians, are specialized in technical jobs, stressing their focus as an industrial institution on technical jobs, whether in mechanics or electricity or working in production lines with a greater proportion of administrative functions
