Maktoum Bin Mohammed Receives CEO of PepsiCo

HH Sheikh Maktoum bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Deputy Ruler of Dubai received at his office at Emirates Towers in Dubai this morning Mike Spanos, CEO of PepsiCo Soft Drinks in Asia, Middle East and Africa.
He also discussed the company’s operations in the UAE and the region and plans to expand its investments and activate its operations and productivity. The CEO pointed out that, through its headquarters in Dubai, it is developing its investments and increasing its productivity from soft drinks / Pepsi Cola / The company has 320 factories in 40 countries and has 2,000 employees in the company’s factories in the UAE, as well as franchise employees of Dubai Refreshments and Abu Dhabi Refreshments.
His Highness Sheikh Maktoum bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum welcomed PepsiCo’s investments in the UAE, stressing that the UAE in general and Dubai in particular are opening their doors to Arab and foreign investors in various sectors. It also places all facilities and logistical support for these investors and international companies to help them. To expand and strengthen its investments in the country and to create jobs for young people in a safe and economically viable investment environment.
For his part, Mr. Spanos expressed his appreciation for the facilities provided by the UAE and Dubai governments to his company and its employees who live in a secure, stable and socially stable society in light of the human values ​​and equality enjoyed by all members of the UAE community.
