Abu Dhabi Future Energy Company (Masdar) has signed a memorandum of understanding with the Argentine province of Jujuy to cooperate in the field of solar energy production.
The agreement was signed on the sidelines of the Abu Dhabi Sustainability Week 2018 by Gerardo Rubin Morales, Governor of Jujuy Province, Argentina, and Mohammed Jamil Al Rumhi, CEO of Masdar.

Today, Masdar is active in more than 20 countries around the world. The total capacity of Masdar’s renewable energy projects, both in operation and under development, is around 3 GW.
Masdar and Khojoy will identify investment opportunities within the province to develop a range of solar energy projects associated with the electricity grid. Under the agreement, Masdar will harness its vast expertise in enabling Jujuy to accelerate its transformation into a knowledge economy.
