Mifma Convex Dubai 2019 launches its first edition

The Middle East Facilities Management Association (MEFMA), the Middle East’s largest utility provider, has launched the Middle East Facilities Management Association (MEFMA) conference in Dubai today.
The conference, organized by the Middle East Facilities Management Association, will be held at the Address Hotel in Dubai Marina on March 12 to discuss ways to improve facilities management by harnessing business intelligence and technology, as well as offering insight into influential topics such as establishing companies Facilities management, and professional development in facilities management consultancy.
The agenda is characterized by a series of presentations, local and international case studies and consultation and debate sessions to explore new horizons for establishing effective partnerships between the public and private sectors to provide facilities management services to a new level of excellence and solid pillars of creativity, innovation and technology.
“The Middle East Facilities Management Association’s annual conference has become a leading platform for raising awareness about the best ways to employ technological innovation to drive the growth and sustainability of the regional facilities management sector,” said Jamal Lootah, President, Middle East Facilities Management Association. The first day of the conference witnessed many presentations and discussion sessions. HE Dr. Thamer bin Abdullah Al-Raqeeb, Director of the General Administration of Projects and Facilities Affairs at the Ministry of Interior, presented a presentation on the road map for the development of facilities management in the Ministry of Interior. At Aramco, presented a presentation on “Digital Transformation and Business Integration: A World of Opportunities for the Facilities Management Sector in the GCC”.
For the first time, the MEFMA Award for Excellence in Technology-Based Facilities Management was awarded to members who had successfully conducted case studies, with Dubai Silicon Oasis gaining the second place, Innova, Proficiency “.
