Umm Al Quwain Businesswomen elect New Management Team

The Umm Al Quwain Businesswomen Council held today the first preparatory meeting for the new session of the council which runs from 2019 till 2022 for the election of the Board of Directors which resulted in the selection of Aisha Rashid Latim as President of the Council by acclamation and Muza Hatem Al Shamsi, First Vice President and Sheikh Maryam Bint Saeed Al Mualla Second Deputy.

The meeting was chaired by Aisha to be attended by nine members of the Board of Directors along with Basem Abdulkarim Al Zubaidi, Advisor to Umm Al Quwain Chamber and Mohsen Obaid, Director of Financial and Administrative Department at the Chamber.

The meeting began by conveying the greetings and blessings of His Highness the Ruler of Umm Al Quwain Sheikha Sumaya Bint Saqr Al Qasimi, Honorary President of the Council, and her wish for the success and success of the Council and its members during the current session.

In her speech she expressed her gratitude to His Highness the Ruler of Umm Al Quwain for the pioneering role and support of the Council’s continuous Highness, which played a major role in realizing the vision of the Council which aims at the participation of women and all segments of society in the sustainable economy and activating its mission which is keen to support the activities and initiatives of businesswomen in their field of activity and to provide them with all the necessary resources to help them achieve the vision of Umm Al Quwain 2021, which aims at providing a high quality of life for a cohesive society based on a sustainable economy and attractive tourism to reach the highest international standards and infrastructure.

An innovative pile, providing the best services to citizens and residents in line with the vision of the UAE.

The meeting included the presentation of a report presented by Rania Mustafa Taha, the official of relations and government liaison and the general coordinator of the council on the statute of the council in addition to presenting the most important achievements and the participation of the council in the previous session.
