The Business Development Department of Ras Al Khaimah organized a business partnership workshop in the presence of a number of managers and officials of new companies working in the construction sector in the emirate.
The workshop aimed to strengthen coordination and cooperation mechanisms between companies operating in a number of key sectors in the Emirate of Ras Al Khaimah, especially in the fields of seeking new opportunities in the fields of joint investment, enhancing the trade in goods and services between these companies and discussing the common challenges faced by companies in the economic sectors As well as the recommendations of the governmental bodies with the necessary proposals to confront them, in addition to the transfer of knowledge and exchange of experiences between them.
The workshop reviewed the most important challenges faced by companies operating in the construction sector, the most important of which is the decline in general performance, the multiplicity of fees imposed, the need to develop standard standards for construction contracts and the need to give a big role to companies operating in major projects in the Emirate. The participants held similar workshops on a regular basis to discuss issues and issues of common interest in the presence of representatives of some government agencies related to companies operating in the emirate.
Mohammed Al Mahmoud, Director of Business Development, said that this initiative is one of the initiatives that the Department is working on to develop the role of the sector in the economic development process and to achieve continuous and constructive communication between representatives of the public and private sectors in order to reach common visions about facing the challenges facing the business sector And turn them into opportunities to be reflected positively on the march of sustainable economic development in the Emirate
