Saudi Arabia: 35 incubators licensed to provide 38 programs to support facilities

The General Authority for Small and Medium Enterprises (SME) of Saudi Arabia authorized Mnshat for 4 months to 35 business incubators in 10 cities offering 38 programs to support entrepreneurs. These programs range from business incubators to business hubs and joint workspaces. Minshat explained that it aims to issue incubator licenses to provide facilities for these incubators from its governmental and private sector establishments and partners and to identify the needs and requirements for the establishment and prosperity of entrepreneurship in the Kingdom in line with the vision of the Kingdom 2030. Minshat indicated that incubator programs include the Business Incubators Program to support the establishment and growth of pilot and emerging projects through the provision of a range of services and resources, including the provision of business space, business development services and advisory and advisory services. It also includes the Business Accelerators program, which provides intensive programs to accelerate the growth and expansion of leading and emerging companies over a period of time, usually from three to six months, by providing a package of services and resources, including the provision of workspaces and business development services.
