Abu Dhabi Economy gives Citizens with Special Needs the right to license their business activities to integrate them into society

The Abu Dhabi Economic Development Department and Zayed Higher Institute for Humanitarian Care and People with Special Needs have signed a joint cooperation agreement to support stakeholders in the Emirate of Abu Dhabi by empowering them and integrating them into the business community in Abu Dhabi and the UAE in general through the implementation of a number of joint projects and programs. They can have a license under the category of “Abu Dhabi Merchant” with the name of “Entrepreneurs of the people of determination.”

According to a press release obtained by MediaIN, the agreement extends for three years and is automatically renewed with the consent of both parties. The Zayed Higher Institute for Humanitarian Care provides the Department of Economic Development with the statements of those interested in registering the Abu Dhabi Dealer initiative in accordance with the laws and policies of the Department, it supports the skills, abilities and experiences of stakeholders to enable them to engage in the labor market.

Khalifa bin Salem Al Mansouri, Undersecretary of the Department, said that Abu Dhabi Business Center (ADDC) has been directed to provide all necessary facilities in order to facilitate their integration into the Abu Dhabi business community by harnessing their potential and value. This will benefit them and the community in general, pointing out in this context that the Department exempted the owners of the inspiration from the golden service fees provided by the Abu Dhabi Business Center for employers to celebrate the year of Zayed.

He stressed the keenness of the Department to harness the Abu Dhabi Dealer initiative, which was launched last year to be the window of interest for the labor market. Under the agreement with Zayed Higher Corporation for Human Care, the procedures will be simplified and comprehensive accurate information about the nature of the commercial activities through the organization of training workshops and awareness of the owners and parents at the headquarters of the institution in order to introduce these activities and the feasibility of micro-enterprises, especially service.
