Saudi-Jordan Business Council discusses strengthening of trade and economic fields

The Saudi-Jordanian Business Council reviewed the existing relations between the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and Jordan and means of enhancing them in the fields of trade, economy and investment.
During the meeting in Amman, the participants called for the necessity of pushing forward trade and investment relations to a new vision and vision that simulates the outcomes of the Mecca summit, which was called by the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman Bin Abdul Aziz Al Saud to help Jordan economically.
They also stressed the importance of developing practical mechanisms that contribute to overcoming the obstacles preventing the strengthening of trade and investment cooperation between the two brotherly countries and establishing partnerships to implement investment projects in value-added sectors and benefiting from the advantages and incentives available in Jordan.
The head of the Kingdom’s delegation to the council, Dr. Hamdan bin Abdullah Al-Samarain, stressed that the Council will see a new start towards a stronger economic relationship between the two brotherly countries and the exploitation of opportunities and the establishment of joint projects.
