Shares in Beirut Stock Exchange end the week down by 3.54%

The BLOM Invest stock and stock exchange index on the Beirut Stock Exchange ended its week down by 3.54%, closing at 839.58 points.
While the volume of shares traded rose to 117,595 shares worth 880 thousand and 738 US dollars, compared to 154 thousand and 485 shares worth $ 743 thousand and 304 dollars during the previous week.
The capitalization of listed companies declined from $ 8 billion to $ 480 million last week to $ 8 billion and $ 180 million this week.
