“Sharjah’s Airport” Concludes its Participation in the “India Air Cargo Exhibition”

Sharjah International Airport Authority concluded its participation in the “India Air Cargo Fair 2018” which was held for three days at the exhibition center in Mumbai, India, and witnessed a wide participation of the most important international airports, airlines and air freight, as well as representatives of international organizations specialized in aviation and shipping.

Sheikh Faisal bin Saud Al Qasimi, Director of Sharjah International Airport Authority, said that the aim of the exhibition is to inform the participants of the latest services and facilities provided by the airport as well as an ideal platform to communicate with air cargo experts, senior officials of airlines, international airports, freight forwarders and customers from around the world. Also, to discuss ways to develop relations and enhance joint work and presentation of strategies and development studies developed for Sharjah International Airport in the coming years and the air cargo center offers services and facilities.

He added that the Asian market is one of the important markets for Sharjah International Airport, especially the Indian market, where the participation of the Authority to confirm the interest and commitment to this region, noting that over the past years the Commission has documented its relations with several specialized bodies of air cargo taking into account the importance of the strategic location and the role that Can be done in linking East and West to reach important and new markets.
