Sharjah Economic participates in the delegation of the state to Hungary

The Department of Economic Development in Sharjah is part of the UAE delegation to the second session of the joint economic committee between the UAE and Hungary under the chairmanship of His Excellency Sultan bin Saeed Al Mansouri, Minister of Economy.
During the visit, he held meetings with a number of ministers and officials to discuss ways of cooperation in economic and trade fields between the two countries and discuss opportunities, challenges and exchange of information on the most important sectors to be developed and opportunities to establish partnerships that serve the development objectives of both parties.
Sultan Abdullah Al-Suwaidi, Head of Sharjah Economic Development Department, said that the Department participates in such visits to promote the UAE’s position in general and the Emirate of Sharjah in particular in the international markets and to highlight the investments that the emirate has in addition to its competitive environment. These visits play an important role in enhancing UAE investment opportunities abroad and encourage investment flows from and to Sharjah. It also helps to introduce the Emirate’s advanced infrastructure and strengthen relations between the UAE and Hungary in general and between them and Sharjah in particular.
For his part, Abdul Aziz Omar Al Madfa, deputy director of the government liaison department at Sharjah Economic Development Department, said that the department’s participation in the UAE delegation comes from the Department’s keenness to promote and attract investment and capital to the UAE in general and to Sharjah in particular. Advanced infrastructure, and high efficiency.
He pointed out that the facilities provided by the Department to investors is a great attraction for the business sector. The work on developing the economy of the emirate is one of the main tasks of the department to achieve economic well-being and reach sustainable development. It also discusses ways to review the opportunities to increase trade and investment exchanges between them, especially in the sectors of innovation and small and medium enterprises Which is one of the most important sectors of common interest between the two countries.
Al-Madfa thanked the Ministry of Economy for its role in facilitating such international participations which contribute to enhancing the joint work between the various governmental bodies in the country.
