The Ministry of Labor and Social Development, the Saudi Organization for Certified Public Accountants and the Human Resources Development Fund (HADAF) signed today a memorandum of cooperation in the headquarters of the Ministry of Municipal and Rural Affairs in Riyadh. Accounting for growth, in line with the objectives of the National Transition Program and Vision 2030.

The signing of the Memorandum of Understanding comes as a result of the integration of efforts to encourage Emiratisation of the accounting sector and to strengthen the national economy through cooperation and partnership between the public and private sectors to enable the sons and daughters of the country to gain employment opportunities in various sectors, including the accounting sector.

The Ministry of Labor and Development is monitoring the indicators of occupational exposure of these jobs, issuing legislation and regulations that contribute to achieving the objectives and increasing the employment rates using the appropriate mechanisms and monitoring their implementation, while the accounting body coordinates with the relevant authorities to develop laws and regulations related to issuing licenses to accountants And the development of educational and training curricula in the educational institutions with the content approved by the Commission, and work to achieve the resettlement goals agreed upon in the memorandum through the preparation of programs and initiatives to qualify researchers to work in the same Sector, the ministry holds the Authority study and analysis of the current status of the accounting and auditing professions in the labor market.
