Dubai SME has signed a memorandum of understanding, MoU, with a local legal firm, to facilitate Small and Medium-sized Enterprises (SME) access to knowledge and support on business laws.
The MoU was signed by Head of SME Support, and First Partner as local legal firm, in the presence of representatives from both organisations.
Under the agreement, the law firm will give free lectures to registered SMEs about the basic legal directions on establishing and developing a business. The agreement will also give preferential rates to Dubai SME members in handling court cases as well as in writing and reviewing contracts.
For newly established businesses, the right legal counsel is essential to survive and grow. This can make a huge difference, especially in the establishment phase. The main goal is to protect and nourish innovative business ideas and help turn them into reality.
The agreement with Dubai SME will benefit all registered SMEs. In practice, a small detail in one of the clauses in the contract can make or break a company. The law firm will help SMEs avoid such pitfalls.
