The World Summit of Governments, in cooperation with the Ministry of Finance, is organizing a series of events and sessions at the sixth session of the Summit, held under the patronage of HH Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, on February 11 to 13. This comes In recognition of its pioneering role and contribution to enhancing the UAE’s active presence in the global financial sector.
Minister of State for Financial Affairs, Obaid Humaid Al Tayer affirmed the keenness of the Ministry of Finance to organize these events and meetings to discuss issues of interest to the State and the region and to open channels of constructive and fruitful dialogue to develop future strategies based on clear data and visions, and strengthening its network of financial relations at various regional and international levels.
He described the World Summit for Governments as an important platform for exchanging experiences and knowledge as it brings together government leaders, decision-makers, think tanks and the private sector to discuss the challenges facing our Arab economies, develop appropriate solutions and develop future governments based on the latest developments and trends.
During the first day of the World Summit of Governments, the Ministry will hold a high-level closed session on basic income, while on the second day an open dialogue session on “Financial Services Technology” will be held as well as another open session to discuss the public-private partnership in health care.
