The Egyptian Ministry of Petroleum announced that the mechanical and electrical installation works for the first and second production stages at Ghazi gas field are nearing completion, and the pre-operation tests have been started.
The Minister of Petroleum and Mineral Resources Tarek Al-Mulla inspected the progress of the field. He stressed the importance of accelerating the implementation of the remaining phases of the project and placing it on production according to the specified timetable.
He stressed that the Ministry of Petroleum attaches great importance to accelerating the development of newly discovered fields and speeding up their production status because of their distinct economic revenues, both in terms of reducing the burden of importing gas from the state budget by providing a local alternative to meet some of the needs of the market or for expansions in gas-related industries Which means injecting new investments into the local market that supports the national economy and development plans.
