Stock index in Beirut closes its week high

The Bloomfield Securities & Stock Exchange index closed at the end of the week ending March 8, 2019, up 3.21% to close at 973.65 points.
The volume of traded shares increased to 748,904 shares valued at 534,795 US dollars, against 476 thousand and 142 shares worth 1 million and 190 thousand dollars in the previous week.
The capitalization of listed companies rose 9.19 billion US dollars to 9.49 billion dollars by the end of the week.
