The “Tax Clinic” encourages the rapid registration to avoid delay penalties

  The Federal Tax Authority has launched the first phase of the “Tax Clinic” initiative in Ras Al Khaimah on August 12 and is scheduled to continue for about 3 months to include all emirates of the UAE. The three-day tour of Fujairah Municipality began with the aim of providing tax awareness, raising the number of registered taxable works, raising the level of obligation to submit tax returns and paying due taxes. Khalid Ali Al Bustani, Director General of the Federal Tax Authority, said that the first round of the “Tax Clinic” campaign achieved good results in its first phase and witnessed a great response from the business sectors. “Representatives of the Federal Tax Authority will be present at the Tax Clinic in each emirate to answer questions from business representatives about registration and other tax obligations, as well as encourage VAT holders who have not registered to register faster,” he said in a press release. In order to avoid delay penalties as well as the definition of how to submit tax returns and the payment of taxes due in accordance with deadlines to avoid delay penalties. During the tour, business sectors are defined as applicants for compulsory registration, optional registration and taxable supplies on which to determine whether or not the business is required to register.
