Two-year fee exemption for new economic licenses IN Abu Dhabi

The Executive Council of the Emirate of Abu Dhabi has issued a decree exempting all the new economic licenses in the emirate from all local fees for two years from the date of issuance of the license and a decision to exempt and reduce the charges of 98 basic services from the private sector municipalities of Abu Dhabi.
These development decisions are in line with the directives of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces and Chairman of the Executive Council of the Emirate of Abu Dhabi, in order to enhance the competitiveness of the business environment and attract them to companies and institutions.
The decision to exempt new licenses from all local government fees covers all commercial activities in Abu Dhabi and the free zones in the emirate. The Executive Council also approved the abolition of the charges of 75 basic services from the municipalities of Abu Dhabi, offering them free of charge and reducing fees of between 10 and 50 percent of the specified fee For each service, in order to activate the competitiveness of the business environment, and improve it attractively for companies and institutions, and the development of the private sector and small and medium enterprises.
