The UAE accreditation system increases safety indicators in products

The UAE, represented by the National Accreditation System (ENAS), participates in the celebration of the International Day of Accreditation, which falls on 9 June each year.
This year’s event comes as the UAE has achieved advanced positions in the quality infrastructure. The accreditation comes at the top of the programs aimed at ensuring the efficiency of the donor certificates of conformity, laboratories and inspection destinations.
Dr. Rehab Faraj Al Ameri, Director of the National Accreditation Department confirmed that the concept of accreditation has emerged prominently in the so-called quality infrastructure in the countries. ESMA has started the “specifications” of activating and operating the national accreditation system “ENAS” Achieving goals that are positively reflected on the state and on the bodies working in the field of conformity assessment and facilitate the smooth flow of trade between the UAE and the world.
Dr. Ameri explained that the national accreditation system has a prominent role in the UAE, which are mandatory areas issued by the UAE National Accreditation System (ENAS) for the various conformity assessment activities where the mandatory areas are to raise the quality and efficiency of conformity assessment activities that directly affect the health and safety of individuals and society and thus make the world More secure.
She pointed out that there are mandatory areas for accreditation such as medical laboratories, inspection of lifting tools and soil tests, inspection of vehicles and the application of the recruitment system, which requires obtaining the certificates of conformity certificates to accept the certificates issued to comply with the requirements of mandatory technical regulations related to restricted products.
