Sharjah will host the fifth edition of the Emirates Economic Planning Forum on 21 and 22 November at the Al-Gawhar Center for Events and Conferences under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, Member of the Supreme Council and Ruler of Sharjah. The Forum is an interactive platform to review the most important economic changes and the economic implications of them, exchange experiences and initiatives and discuss the best ways to accelerate economic growth and enhance the competitiveness of the state. November 20 for sessions and workshops prior to the launch of the forum officially. The forum focuses on the initiatives, projects and programs implemented by the Ministry of Economy and Economic Development Departments and the relevant federal and local government bodies within the framework of the Government Accelerations launched by the Council of Ministers in 2016 as a new governmental mechanism aimed at accelerating the achievement of the National Agenda for Vision 2021. It also focuses on the development initiatives and projects achieved by the Emirate of Sharjah as a major investment destination in the region, in addition to introducing businessmen, investors and economic entities participating in the forum with the distinctive investment elements of the emirate in particular and the UAE in general and its business stimulating environment. Investment in all sectors is successful. “The Emirates Economic Planning Forum continues its pioneering role as a national platform to enhance cooperation and coordination between the Ministry of Economy and its partners from the economic development departments in all emirates of the UAE, and review the developments of the national economy and its development prospects during the next phase,” said Sultan bin Saeed Al Mansouri.
