UAE Minister of Economy and Secretary-General of the World Tourism Organization (WTO) discuss strengthening cooperation

HE Sultan bin Saeed Al Mansouri, Minister of Economy, discussed the importance of the vital role played by the tourism sector as one of the main engines for enhancing economic diversification and meeting the requirements of sustainable development with the Secretary General of the World Tourism Organization of the United Nations and his accompanying delegation, Zurab Pololikashvili. Zurab Pololikashvili, Secretary-General of the World Tourism Organization of the United Nations, at the Ministry’s headquarters in Dubai.
The UAE has successfully developed an advanced tourism infrastructure, including leisure resorts, cultural and sports destinations, business tourism, exhibitions and hotel services, which has helped to consolidate its position as a leading tourism destination both regionally and internationally, said Pololikashvili.
