US-China trade talks progress

White House economic adviser Larry Kudlo said the United States and China are making progress in trade negotiations, noting that an agreement “will take time.”
“We are making progress in the largest-scale negotiations between the two countries at all, we are discussing all the issues,” Koldo was quoted by news agencies as saying.
“It will take time, but we move forward … I would like to reach an agreement … I am a free trader, but it must be a great deal.” Chinese Vice Premier Liu He is scheduled to visit the United States on Jan. 30 and 31 for the next round of talks with Washington.
Liu’s visit follows less-than-expected negotiations in Beijing last week to try to resolve the trade dispute between the world’s two largest economies before March 2, the date set by the US administration’s Donald Trump to increase tariffs on Chinese goods worth 200 billion dollars.
