 The volume of trade between the UAE and China reached 53.3 billion dollars (195.8 billion dirhams) at the end of last year, compared with 46.3 billion dollars (169 billion dirhams) at the end of 2016, a growth rate of 15.1 percent. The non-oil trade report between the UAE and China showed that the value of re-exports rose 37.4 percent to 3.5 billion dollars (12.8 billion dirhams) and imports grew 14.7 percent to 48.3 billion dollars (177.4 billion dirhams). The country’s foreign trade with China last year was 25.685 billion US dollars (94.3 billion dirhams), accounting for 48 percent of total foreign trade, compared to 52 percent of the 27.644 billion US dollars (101.5 billion dirhams) China’s foreign trade with China accounted for 14.7 percent of the country’s total foreign trade for 2017, according to preliminary estimates released by the Ministry of Economy earlier this year. The ministry said the preliminary figures indicate that the total foreign trade of the UAE will reach 1.7 trillion dirhams in 2017, expressing its expectation of continued growth in the state trade during the year 2018 and the coming years in light of the continuation of the policy of opening up and building fruitful trade partnerships with different countries and on all continents World and map development cooperation Trading with promising global markets.
