World Aviation Industry Summit Discusses Future of Defense and Space

The 2018 World Aviation Industry Summit, to be held in Abu Dhabi from April 30 to May 2, will discuss the future of the defense and space sectors on a global scale from a geopolitical, environmental and economic perspective.
“Abu Dhabi is keen to participate in this summit because there are many international companies specialized in the aerospace, aerospace and defense industries,” said Nader Ahmed Al Hammadi, Chairman of Abu Dhabi Aviation.
Al Hammadi said that the 2018 World Summit for Aviation Industry is an international forum bringing together decision makers and all international, regional and local officials from the aviation industry, air transport and space to discuss future growth strategies and issues that will shape the future of sectors over the coming decades. And to provide insights into the future strategies of the two emirates of Abu Dhabi and Dubai. The importance of the Summit is to explore the role of the defense industry as a catalyst for global security, international cooperation and economic growth.
The importance of the summit comes in the light of the results achieved by the UAE in the context of investing billions of dollars in the aviation and aerospace sector, which means the industry and establishment of airlines to upgrade to the global level as well as the development and expansion of national airports, Abu Dhabi Land.
Abu Dhabi is the largest fixed-wing helicopter and fixed-wing aircraft operator in the Middle East and North Africa and has the largest AW139 helicopter simulation center, including 8 simulators. In addition, it has established a world-class maintenance center in cooperation with the manufacturer of the aircraft (Leonardo). The center adds high technical capabilities and capabilities to customers in the UAE and the Middle East.
