The rise in the exchange rate of the dollar against the ruble on the Moscow Stock Exchange

Moscow, August 1 / The exchange rate of the US dollar rose against the Russian ruble in the Moscow Stock Exchange trading today.

 

 

 

 

By 16:30 Moscow time, according to Moscow Stock Exchange data, the exchange rate of the US dollar rose by 18 kopecks to 91.78 rubles, in contrast to the exchange rate of the single European currency (the euro), which fell by 24 kopecks to 100.70 rubles.

 

 

 

 

In the stock market, the Moscow Stock Exchange index of shares denominated in rubles MICEX exceeded the level of 3100 points, for the first time since February 22, 2023, by 0.89%, to record 3100.76 points, and the stock index of shares denominated in RTS dollars rose by 0.62% to 1063.96 points.
