A Saudi-Omani delegation plans to travel to the Yemeni capital, Sanaa, next week to reach a permanent ceasefire agreement with Houthi officials and end the eight-year-old Yemeni crisis in the country, two sources involved in the talks said.
The two sources said: If an agreement is reached, the parties to the crisis in Yemen may announce an agreement before the Eid al-Fitr holiday, which begins on April 20.
They added that the discussions would focus on fully reopening Yemen’s ports and airports, paying public servants’ wages, the rebuilding process, and the political transition.
