Gold prices are falling globally by more than $8

Global gold prices fell during today’s trading, losing more than $8 in spot transactions.

According to global market data, the prices of the yellow metal in spot transactions decreased by 0.48%, or the equivalent of $8.15, to reach $1,689.41 per ounce, by 09:40 am UAE time.

And gold futures contracts for December delivery fell 0.64%, equivalent to $10.9, to reach $1,698.2 an ounce.

In terms of other precious metals, silver fell 0.65% to $19.44 an ounce, palladium fell 0.65% to $2154.52, and platinum fell 0.65% to $897.75.
