Members of the International Forum of Halal accreditation bodies arrive in 32 countries within 1000 days

The International Forum of Halal Accrediting Organizations announced a significant achievement by reaching 32 member states within 1000 days of starting its business.
The 32 member states represent more than $ 700 billion of the Halal economy, accounting for about 34 per cent of the world’s $ 2.1 trillion halal economy.
According to the 2018-2019 World Islamic Economy Report, in collaboration with Thomson Reuters, nine of the top 15 countries in the global Islamic economy are members of the International Forum of Halal Credit Unions (IHAF), namely, Bahrain, Saudi Arabia, Oman, Jordan, Pakistan, Kuwait, Indonesia And Turkey. “The report also showed that among new arrivals in halal food exports there are at least two members of the forum, namely Kyrgyzstan and the Philippines.
Eng. Mohamed Saleh Badri, Secretary General of the International Forum of Halal accreditation bodies, stressed the importance of this achievement and the role of the Forum in achieving this progress.
“Since its establishment in 2016, the forum has been continuously building and sustaining trust and confidence in Halal products and services offered worldwide by harmonizing Halal compliance practices. We have also established international strategic partnerships with leading international organizations that facilitate Trade at the global level “.
The International Forum of Halal Accrediting Organizations with the International Accreditation Forum (IAF) and the International Laboratory Accreditation Organization (IAC) is a landmark not only recognizing the role of the Forum in the international arena, but also opening new doors for the global trade movement as well as ensuring the smooth passage of various Halal products and services. between countries.
The latest reports indicate that four of the top five halal and livestock exporters to the OIC countries are members of the IAFF International Forum of Brazil, Australia, India and the United States of America, while four of the five leading markets for food sources Brazil, India, Argentina and Russia. Four of the top five Halal food importers are also members of the forum, including Saudi Arabia, the UAE, Indonesia and Egypt.
The Halal Forum is one of the world’s leading organizations to build awareness and knowledge about Halal around the world. The forum is also part of several important conferences such as the 2nd China-UAE Islamic Banking and Finance Conference in Shenzhen, China, which focused on accelerating Halal consumption growth Halal products have become less expensive in terms of production and transport. Similarly, the Forum has launched and managed its Halal awareness workshops and training programs and recently organized a number of events in Kyrgyzstan, Egypt, Costa Rica, Hong Kong and Tajikistan.
