The Royal Commission for Jubail and Yanbu, one of the Chinese companies, signed an agreement for Yanbu Industrial City, which is constructing a ceramics production plant at 375 million riyals, and a memorandum to discuss developing joint opportunities in the renewable energy industry.
The Saudi-Chinese partnership is based on harmonizing the vision of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia 2030 and the China Belt and Road Initiative. Jazan City for Basic and Transformational Industries is in line with the initiative of the belt and sea road which will be a gateway to international markets.
