The Saudi Minister of Finance will participate in the meeting of finance ministers of the United Arab Emirates, Kuwait and the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan in implementation of the decisions of the meeting held in Makkah on Sunday 10 June 2018 to discuss ways to support Jordan to emerge from the financial crisis.
At the previous meeting, it was agreed to provide Jordan with a $ 1 billion deposit with the Central Bank of Jordan from the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Kuwait and the United Arab Emirates, and to provide World Bank guarantees amounting to US $ 600 million for Jordan amounting to US $ 200 million. Of the three countries, and to provide annual support to the Jordanian government budget of US $ 150 million (US $ 50 million) from each of the three countries for a period of five years. The development funds of the three countries will finance the establishment of schools in Jordan, US $ from each state of Three countries immediately for one time within the programs that serve this sector in Jordan.
