Jordan: 35 million dinars revenues of Omri Customs last year

Customs revenues at the customs of Jordan in Omari Customs Center amounted to JD 35 million last year and handled 238 customs issues.

On customs issues, the director of the center, Colonel Salem Al-Shallal, said that it included electronic cigarettes and fountains, flavors and issues related to currency and weapons, as well as seizures related to the smuggling of hydrocarbons, live falcons and drilling heads of artesian wells.
He pointed out that the customs revenues of the Omari Customs Center amounted to 35 million dinars last year, an increase of 66 percent from 2017, pointing out that Customs dealt with about 1.1 million passengers coming to the Kingdom and organized 137137 customs statements.
