The value of invoices collected through the electronic bill collection and collection system (Bills) reached 2 billion and 119 million dinars in the first half of this year, an increase of 275 percent compared to about 593 million dinars for the same period of 2017.
According to Central Bank of Jordan data, the number of bills traded through the system rose to 2 million and 718,000 bills, compared with 153 million and a bill, up 135 percent.
The payments through the system of your bills exceeded the limit of 6 billion dinars since its inception at the end of 2015, reaching 6068 million dinars by the end of April this year, with a total movement movements of 9.7 million movements.
Government institutions accounted for the largest volume of payments through the system, reaching about 2009 million dinars to the end of April.
The number of channels of payment through the system has increased to 30, while the number of entities issuing invoices through the system 136, with the expectation that some 18 entities will issue these invoices this year.
