Japanese stocks fell to their lowest level in 10 months

Tokyo, January 4: Japanese stock indices fell at the end of today’s trading, towards their lowest levels in 10 months since mid-March.
The Nikkei index on the Tokyo Stock Exchange closed down by 1.45 percent, equivalent to 377.64 points, to close at 25,716.86 points.
The broader Topix index fell by 1.25 percent, equivalent to 23.56 points, to close at 1868.15 points.
