“Securities” begins to apply fees 59 service provided to companies

The Securities and Commodities Authority (SCA) has started implementing its Board of Directors Decision No. 32 of 2018 on fees for technical services due to the Authority for 59 services provided to public shareholding companies, brokerage firms, auditing firms and investment funds.
According to the decision, the fees charged by the Securities and Commodities Authority (SCA) ranged from AED 500 to AED 100,000 depending on the activity in the list defined by the Authority.
The list of services included in the Board of Directors’ resolution includes securities brokerage activity of all types, in addition to the activity of financial advisory, financial analysis, investment management, corporate licensing, custodian activity and mergers.
The list also includes fees for increasing or decreasing corporate capital, licensing securities companies, registration of foreign investment funds, issue of certificates of deposit, listing of debt securities, sukuk and circulation of ETF units.
As for the fees payable to the Authority for trading the DGCX contracts, they were set at AED11.025 / fils for each sale or purchase contract equal to or exceeding AED 36,750. A fee of AED2.205 / Or purchase less than AED 36750.
The list of fees included 500 dirhams for the consideration of complaints submitted to the Authority relating to the transactions of financial markets and 1000 dirhams for the settlement of grievances and the same for arbitration, in addition to many other services provided by the Authority.
