The UAE participates in the Arab Economic and Social Development Summit in Beirut

The United Arab Emirates (UAE) will hold a high-level official delegation headed by His Excellency Sultan bin Saeed Al Mansouri, Minister of Economy, at the final preparatory meetings for the fourth session of the Arab Economic and Social Development Summit which started in the Lebanese capital on January 17th.
The delegation includes HE Eng. Mohammed Ahmed bin Abdul Aziz Al Shehhi, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Economy for Economic Affairs, HE Mohammed Sharaf Al Hashemi, Assistant Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation for Economic and Commercial Affairs, and HE Mohammed Saleh Shalawah, Advisor to the Minister of Economy.
The series of summit meetings began last Thursday with the meeting of the Follow-up and Preparations Committee for the Summit at the senior officials level, followed on the same day by the joint preparatory meeting of the Permanent Delegates and senior officials, which was attended by UAE representative HE Mohamed Saleh Shalawah, Advisor to the Minister of Economy.
The delegation participated yesterday under the chairmanship of the Minister of Economy at the joint meeting of foreign ministers and ministers concerned with the Economic and Social Council preparatory to the Arab Economic and Social Development Summit where the themes and the issues on the agenda of the summit were discussed.
