Export Credit Union completes first batch of “National Accelerators”

The company announced the completion of the first batch of the national accelerators program, which enhances the Emiratisation efforts in the company and supports the country’s strategy to raise the rate of job resettlement in all vital sectors.
The National Acceleration Program – an initiative of the Union of Export Credit in line with UAE Vision 2021 – aims to familiarize participants with the importance of export credit institutions, their establishment, strategic objectives and key products, as well as developing their competencies and enhancing their export credit insurance capabilities.
The National Accelerators program provides specialized training for young UAE nationals and focuses on the importance and role of the Union for Export Credit in stimulating and sustaining exports, trade and non-oil investments in the UAE.
The 18-week training program was designed specifically to provide UAE nationals with a better understanding of export credit insurance.
In line with the Government’s efforts to attract UAE nationals to the workforce, participants in the 9 National Accelerators program have been employed at the Union of Export Credit and have received extensive training from leading credit and academic professionals from prestigious institutions.
Eng. Saed Al Awadhi, Executive Director of the Export Development Corporation of Dubai and a member of the Board and Chairman of the Executive Committee of the Federation of Export Credit said that the Export Credit Association has always been committed to the UAE’s goals in investing in the potential of UAE nationals and improving their skills. “Is of great importance because it is in line with the country’s goals in launching the capabilities of citizens and enabling them to be a driving force in the transformation of the UAE.
Masimo Valcioni, CEO of Etihad Export Credit, said the “National Accelerators” program is an important step towards the UAE’s export credit strategy, which is in line with Emiratisation policies.
Safia Matroushi, Head of Human Resources at the EU Export Credit, said that with the completion of the highly successful National Acceleration Program, the Association of Export Credit has expanded its team by employing these specialized youth and has strengthened its commitment to Emiratisation strategy in the country. Received by participants in the program have enabled them to work in the Association for Export Credit and to assume various functions.
