The Central Bank of Egypt: Tourism revenues in Egypt increased to $10.3 billion

Cairo, July 26 / The Central Bank of Egypt revealed the performance of the balance of payments during the period from July to March of the fiscal year 2022/2023, which showed a doubling of the surplus of the services balance, to record about $ 14.5 billion, due to the noticeable increase in both tourism revenues and the proceeds of traffic fees in Cairo. Suez Canal.

And the Central Bank of Egypt confirmed, in a statement issued today, that tourism revenues increased by 25.7%, to record about $10.3 billion, compared to about $8.2 billion.

The bank noted that the number of tourist nights increased by 26.8%, to record about 110.5 million nights, and the number of tourists coming to Egypt by 32%, to about 10 million tourists.
