Jordan Income: The last date for submitting the income statement at the end of April

The Jordanian Income and Sales Tax Department confirmed that “the delay in submitting the income tax declaration for the legal date ending on April 30 will expose the taxpayer to a fine ranging from 100 to 500 dinars, in addition to being subjected to preliminary and administrative assessment.”
In a statement released on Sunday, the department called on “to submit their declarations during the remaining days of this month and not to delay handing over the declarations to the end of the month.” The department also asked the taxpayers to “fill their statements with factual and correct information that reflects their real and real income. Reflect their real business activities during 2017 “.
The Department explained that the delay in payment of the amounts incurred by the taxpayer, including those stated in the tax return of the legal date, “will arrange a fine of 4 per thousand for each week of delay or any part thereof.”
The Department provided an explanatory video on the steps to submit income tax returns on its website (www.istd.gov.jo).
