Today, Monday, Iraqi President Abdul Latif Jamal Rashid received a written message from Russian President Vladimir Putin, congratulating him on his election as President of the Republic of Iraq and looking forward to strengthening strong bilateral relations. And the Presidency of the Republic of Iraq stated – in a statement reported by Al-Ikhbariya channel – that the Iraqi president met the Ambassador of the Russian Federation to Iraq, Elbrus Kutrashev, carrying the Russian President’s message.
