“Nuclear Control” confirms “Nawat” commitment to all requirements of the operating phase of the third unit in “Barakah”

The Federal Authority for Nuclear Regulation (FANR) affirmed that Nawah Energy Company is committed to all the requirements of the operating phase of the third unit at the Barakah Nuclear Energy Plant.

The FANR said in a statement on the announcement of the start of the normal (forest) operation phase of the third unit in Barakah: “Since issuing the operating license last June for the third unit at the Barakah Nuclear Power Plant, FANR has continued its monitoring tasks in the fuel loading phase and the various tests that It was conducted to reach the stage of normal operation, which is one of the important stages in the nuclear power plant, in which the process of nuclear fission to generate energy or what is known as (criticality) begins.
