Sharjah opens its gateway to leading Brazilian jewelery companies and designers

The 47th Middle East Watch and Jewelery Show, which kicked off yesterday at Expo Center Sharjah, is witnessing a Brazilian participation, the first of its kind in the history of the event, which started more than a quarter of a century ago with 400 pieces, ranging from gold jewelery to a unique gemstone package. A distinctive collection of jewelry inspired by Brazilian culture.
His Excellency Saif Mohammed Al Midfa, CEO of Expo Center Sharjah, said that Brazil’s participation in the watch and jewelery exhibition was due to its increasing importance and investment attractiveness to the most important companies and brands in the country, the region and the world.
Al Madfaa pointed out that the Brazilian participation in the exhibition is an added value, noting that the brilliance witnessed in the exhibition increases the keenness of the center to keep pace with the development of its programs and events by constantly seeking to launch a new quality initiatives package to enhance the success of the exhibition and gain the confidence of exhibitors and the satisfaction of visitors.
For her part, Julina Vergara, executive director of the Brazilian jewelery house Vergara, considered that the Middle East for Watches and Jewelery is an important window for Brazil on the Middle East market.
“We in Brazil aspire to enter the Middle East market from the gate of the Emirate of Sharjah.”
