Dubai Maritime City Authority (DMAA) has completed preparations to host the UAE Maritime Week 2019, the first maritime event of its kind on the regional map, held under the patronage of HH Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai and Chairman of the Executive Council as part of efforts to establish leadership The UAE is a world-class maritime destination and a strong competitor to the global maritime map.
The fifth edition, which will be held from 22 to 26 September, will highlight the achievements of the maritime sector, especially in the wake of Dubai’s access to the leadership of the maritime sector in the Middle East as the first regional and fifth globally among the best maritime centers in the world for 2019. .
Amer Ali, Executive Director of the Dubai Maritime City Authority, said that the UAE Maritime Week is once again reaffirming Dubai’s leading position as a global destination for leading maritime events, providing a strategic platform to enhance the rapprochement, interaction and interaction among maritime industry leaders and to consolidate bridges of modern knowledge transfer and exchange. International best practices that will take the maritime industry to a new level of growth and sustainability.
The upcoming event attracts the attention of the leaders of the global maritime industry as a unified platform to explore the future of the maritime industry from the perspective of innovation, knowledge and smart transformation in line with the rapid transformations imposed by the twenty-first century with a focus on exploring the prospects for the growth of maritime trade through a series of high-level events that will Promote international best practice exchanges and the most successful pilot experiences, led by Dubai, to becoming a major maritime portal for global trade.
The Dubai Maritime Agenda will be at the forefront of the strategic events planned on the sidelines of the UAE Maritime Week 2019.It will bring together elite maritime leaders, decision makers, regional and international experts, government officials, policy makers and representatives of major international companies working in the maritime sector.
The current edition of the UAE Maritime Agenda, scheduled for September 22, will once again provide a platform to highlight Dubai’s position as a key player in the advancement of the local and global maritime industry based on the pillars of creativity, technical innovation, excellence, training and human investment, while highlighting the successes that culminated in the entry of the emirate. The agenda of the Dubai Maritime Agenda is comprehensive and diverse, addressing a range of pivotal issues affecting the reality and future of the local and global maritime sector.
Expanded discussions among the global maritime industry will be held in four main sessions, the first of which will be entitled “Trade Uncertainty: Fundamentals of the Maritime Market.
