Amman Trade launches an explanatory guide to the laws of judicial development

The Jordan Amman Chamber of Commerce has launched an explanatory guide on “Amended Laws issued by the Royal Commission for the Development of the Judiciary” and contains 11 laws that should be widely focused on trade and the business environment.
The guide, sponsored by Dr. Bassam Talhouni, includes a summary of the rules of civil trials, the formation of regular courts, the management of state cases, the grand criminal court, mediation of civil disputes, evidence and criminal trials, judicial independence and enforcement,
The guide was prepared in cooperation with a team of legal experts to clarify the most important legal contents related to trade and the business environment contained in amendments to the laws of developing the judiciary and providing them to traders to assist them in their work. Commercial.
Al-Talhouni described the evidence as a positive and effective initiative because it touches on an important issue related to the national economy and relates to judicial procedures and litigation before the competent courts, pointing out that litigation is one of the important bases in stimulating the economy,
Al-Talhouni praised the high Royal interest and the formation of the Royal Commission for the development of legislations related to the judiciary, His Majesty’s faith and his constant follow-up, his concern for the judiciary and the promotion of the word of truth, noting that its formation had a significant impact on the development of legislation related to litigation and judicial proceedings.
He pointed out that the amendments approved the establishment of specialized economic courts within the courts of first instance to consider certain specialized commercial disputes and to promote developments in the various penal aspects, especially with regard to the imposition of sanctions and the criminalization of certain acts that were not previously criminal. And the use of electronic alternatives as a substitute for alternatives to arrest, in addition to the separation of jurisdiction in the prosecution’s view of the personal right to the prosecution of the public right, especially in the case of S.
According to Al-Ain Al-Talhouni, the amendments contributed to the research and encouragement of traders and citizens to resort to alternative procedures for litigation through the “Mediation Law”, suggesting that the Amman Chamber of Commerce establish an arbitration center to be a future reference for arbitration work in the Kingdom.
