The Hamdan Bin Rashid Al Maktoum Foundation for Distinguished Academic Performance announced the opening of nominations for the 26th round of its annual awards, which include 6 categories; As the Foundation begins to receive entries from those wishing from the UAE through its website until September 8.
The various categories of awards include: Distinguished School, Distinguished Teacher, Distinguished Educator, Distinguished University Student, Distinguished Student, and Institutions Supporting Education Award.
Dr. Khalifa Al Suwaidi, Secretary-General of the Hamdan Bin Rashid Al Maktoum Foundation for Distinguished Academic Performance, said: “We are pleased to announce the opening of the door for entries for the Foundation’s awards at the local level in its 26th session, which over the years has been reflecting the vision and objectives of the Foundation and its pioneering path, and made clear contributions to supporting education.” Strengthening it with qualitative programs, highlighting and supporting talented people, encouraging excellence, spreading the spirit of competition, honoring and caring for the distinguished, contributing to building the educational quality system and spreading educational awareness in the areas of excellence in the country, in line with the comprehensive renaissance, the rapid digital development, the vision of our wise leadership and its tireless efforts in consolidating and encouraging the concepts of innovation. And excellence.”

The awards, which were launched by the late Sheikh Hamdan bin Rashid Al Maktoum, based on his vision of the importance of quality education in the development of peoples and in achieving sustainable development, aim to support quality paths in the educational sector and encourage excellence and talent.
The awards witnessed an expansion in the scope of its regional and international services and partnerships. Where the scope of its cooperation included international organizations such as UNESCO, ISESCO, ALECSO, Fab Lab, the International Council for the Gifted, and the International Association for Research on Giftedness and Excellence. It also gained international fame and assumed its position as the most important awards in the education sector in the world.
