“Ajman Charity” launches its Ramadan campaign “From what you love”, aiming to implement humanitarian projects worth 144 million dirhams

The International Charitable Activities Authority launched its Ramadan campaign for the year 2023 under the slogan “What do you love”, aiming to implement charitable and humanitarian projects with a total value of more than 144 million and 800 thousand dirhams, with a growth rate of 10 percent over the past year. While it includes new qualitative initiatives aimed at extending a helping hand and assistance to those in need within the country and in the areas of work of the authority around the world.

Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdullah bin Sultan Al Nuaimi, Chairman of the Authority’s Board of Trustees, said, “With the advent of the blessed Ramadan approaching, we are pleased to announce the launch of the ‘What You Love’ campaign, which is one of our most important seasonal campaigns that consolidate the great Islamic values, and is a continuation of the Authority’s march in providing various types of support.” For the poor and needy, and the success achieved by the campaign every year reflects the trust of benefactors and their important role in the success of all initiatives that enhance the leadership of the UAE, the country of goodness, giving and humanity.
While Dr. Khaled Al-Khaja, Secretary-General of the Authority, revealed that the campaign includes a number of important projects, most notably: Iftar fasting at a value of 8 million and 500 thousand dirhams, Zakat Al-Fitr at a value of two million dirhams, and Eid clothing, at about one million dirhams. In addition to public projects, such as: sponsoring and caring for orphans by about 39 million dirhams, zakat money by about 24 million dirhams, mosque construction projects by about 17 million and 600 thousand dirhams, and wells by about 11 million dirhams, as well as other projects and initiatives.
He pointed out that the campaign is characterized by field visits to many countries, such as Egypt, Niger, Ethiopia, Indonesia and others. Stressing that the authority has completed preparations for the success of the campaign’s projects and initiatives, and has prepared ways to facilitate donations, such as various platforms, the website, text messages, and representatives in markets and commercial centers. Expressing the Authority’s thanks to the benefactors, male and female, and partners in the humanitarian march pursued by the Authority.
