Dubai Islamic supports Sharjah Charity with 12 million dirhams

Sharjah, April 18 / The Sharjah Charity Association received a financial donation from Dubai Islamic Bank in the amount of 12 million dirhams to support the zakat money project that the association implements continuously throughout the year. This comes within the framework of cooperation and support that Dubai Islamic Bank has been providing as a contribution to the association’s zakat projects.

Dubai Islamic Bank is one of the most prominent strategic partners that the association relies on to support its charitable projects, the vast majority of which are based on donations received from zakat banks along with all other donation banks. Significant impact in providing assistance to the largest segment of the beneficiaries.

Sheikh Saqr bin Muhammad Al Qasimi, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Sharjah Charity Association, said that this support comes as a realistic translation of the concerted efforts in the UAE community to advance charitable work, pointing out that the association has taken upon itself to help the needy, orphans and the poor, and will distribute zakat to families within the country in varying amounts after studying their financial conditions and the number of Its members are based on the legal controls as well as the humanitarian cases that are eligible for zakat, and to find out the situation of families whose conditions are compatible with the legal expenditures of zakat.

Sheikh Saqr Al Qasimi thanked Dubai Islamic Bank for the continuous support and giving to the association and for its humanitarian and societal role every year by distributing the bank’s zakat to its beneficiaries.
