Dubai Hosts Solar Asset Management Conference

Dubai will host the Solar Asset Management (MENA) Middle East and North Africa (MENA) Solar Asset Management Conference, the largest gathering of solar stakeholders, to be held on November 17-18 at the Renaissance Downtown Hotel in Dubai.
The Middle East Solar Industry Association has estimated the value of the solar energy market in the MENA region to 2019 at more than $ 20 billion and is expected to increase in the future as the region is witnessing a decline in the cost of solar energy in addition to rising demand for clean energy.
The MENA region’s demand for 267 GW of additional power generation capacity is expected to increase by 2030, representing a 6% jump. This has led to the region’s interest in renewable energy sources, especially solar power, to meet its needs.
