Abu Dhabi, January 11, Abu Dhabi Police participates in the activities of the Al Dhafra Festival, in its current session, as part of the season of camel auctions in the Emirate of Abu Dhabi, which started in Madinat Zayed.
Colonel Hamdan Saif Al Mansouri, Director of the Al Dhafra Region Police Directorate in the Criminal Security Sector, affirmed the Abu Dhabi Police’s interest in participating in all purposeful events and activities that are held in the Al Dhafra region, based on its social responsibility, and its keenness to contribute to the success of the festival by developing methods of communication with the public.
He added that the police continue their efforts to enhance the flow of traffic during the events, and the security and police patrols intensify their presence at the site to assist the festival-goers, respond to their inquiries and meet their needs for police services, in addition to providing assistance to them to easily reach the festival site.
Several departments of the Abu Dhabi Police are participating in defining their tasks and services within the activities of the festival, including the Abu Dhabi Police Aviation Department, the Al Dhafra Rescue and Fire Department, the Al Dhafra Region Traffic Department, the Investigation and Criminal Investigation Department, the Special Tasks Department in Al Dhafra Region, the Command and Control Center, and a number of agencies and departments.
