The IMF expects Oman’s GDP to grow by 4.4% this year.

Muscat Media In: The International Monetary Fund’s Global Economic Prospects Report for the month of October estimated the real GDP growth of the Sultanate of Oman at a rate of 4.4% during 2022. The general budget of the Sultanate had achieved a surplus of one billion and 90 million Omani riyals during the first eight months of this year after Revenues increased by 47% to 9.325 billion riyals, and the value of merchandise exports reached 12.336 million riyals, of which 3,737 riyals were the total value of non-oil merchandise exports.
